Breathing high levels of ozone for a short period of time (minutes or hours) can cause several health issues to adults and children such as shortness of breath, chest pain, coughing and can aggravate asthma symptoms.
Unlike ozone generators, the Plasma Air units use soft ionization technology, also known as bipolar ionization, to provide safe and continuous air purification. These solutions effectively reduce odors, dust, dander and VOCs and inactivate pathogens such as viruses and bacteria. The Plasma Air ionizers are UL 2998 validated as ozone-free and are safe to use continuously around staff and guests.
